Fisker Automotive delivers the new Ocean in three trims, the Ocean Sport, Ocean Ultra and the Ocean Extreme. The cheapest in the lineup is the Sport, with a price tag of 43,990 euros. Difference in powertrain Fisker Ocean

You can immediately see with looking at the above versions that there are big differences when it comes to range. That’s because each version has its own powertrain. The Fisker Ocean Sport has a single electric motor with front-wheel drive. The range is 464 killometers according to the WLTP measurement method. The 0-100 time is 7.4 seconds. This model has the so-called Touring Range battery. That one is 75 kWh in size.

Ultra and Extreme

The Ocean Ultra has two electric motors and AWD. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is a lot faster at 4.2 seconds compared to the Sport. The WLTP range comes out to 690 kilometers. The top model – the Ocean Extreme – gets as far as 707 kilometers on a full charge of electricity and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The Ultra and Extreme both feature the Hyper Range battery. That is up to par at 113 kWh (106 kWh usable).

Fisker: what about warranty?

On a Fisker Ocean, you get a 6-year or 100,000-kilometer basic warranty. You get a 10-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty on the powertrain. Or the battery also carries a 10-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty, with Fisker guaranteeing 75 percent remaining battery capacity. Corrosion warranty also comes with the Fisker, up to 12 years, with no mileage limitation.

Colors and wheels Fisker Ocean

Fisker delivers the Ocean in several colors. Those are Great White, Night Drive, Horizon Gray, Silver Lining, Mariana, Big Sur Blue, Blue Planet, Stealth Green, Red Planet, Sea Grass and Sun Soaked. Fisker also provides six different wheel designs, including 20-inch F7 AeroStealth wheels. All the other wheels – F5b AirGlider Black, F5a AirGlider, F3b SlipStream Black, F3a SlipStream and F6 Vortex – all have the size 22-inches.

SolarSky roof from Fisker Ocean

Top models of the Ocean feature the so-called SolarSky roof. With solar rays, you generate energy for free. When fully exposed to the sun, the Fisker Ocean Extreme’s SolarSky can produce up to 2,400 clean kilometers per year, and under ideal conditions, this can reach more than 3,200 kilometers, based on solar radiation of 5.4 kWh per m2 per day.
