These feature a cutout that reduces pressure on the tailbone, ensuring excellent comfort even on long highway rides. In the attached video, we show them in detail.
Large displays in interiors
The interior features the all-digital Pure Panel cockpit with two 10-inch displays and a Multimedia infotainment system. The newly designed Opel steering wheel also immediately catches the eye. Opel consistently follows the philosophy of maximum comfort with minimal distractions, with a clear and uncluttered user experience that prevents digital stress and distraction.
The new Opel Frontera also takes into account drivers who prefer to rely on their own mobile device. The SUV comes to market with an innovative smartphone station (optional). The smartphone connects via a special app and can then be used as the control panel for the car’s infotainment, with unchanged operation of steering wheel controls.
Powertrains Opel Frontera
The new Opel Frontera comes in four powertrain variants, starting with the Frontera Hybrid with 48V hybrid technology. This version is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine developed specifically for hybrid driving. The gasoline engine works in conjunction with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor and an electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission, significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to a conventionally powered model. The gasoline engine comes in power ratings of 74 kW (100 hp) or 100 kW (136 hp). Prices start at 29,499 euros.
Opel Frontera Electric
For customers who want to travel locally emission-free, there is the battery-electric Opel Frontera Electric. As standard, this version offers a range of more than 300 kilometers (WLTP). The long range version with greater battery capacity can travel up to about 400 kilometers (WLTP) on a full battery charge. This version will be available at a later date. The Frontera Electric is available starting at 30,499 euros.
