Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer: an electric station wagon from Volkswagen
Nice and aerodynamic and spacious
The Volkswagen ID.7 limousine is a highly aerodynamic Volkswagen with a Cw value of 0.234. This value is for the ID.7 Tourer almost the same: 0.242. The ID.7 Tourer offers plenty of space thanks to short overhangs and the long wheelbase. When five people are on board, a luggage volume of up to 545 liters is available, measured to the height of the rear seat backrest. With the backrest folded down, it creates a nearly two-meter-long cargo area with a capacity of up to 1,714 liters.
Built on the EIA platform
Like all models in the ID. family, the ID.7 Tourer is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. The advantages of the modular system with short overhangs and long wheelbase benefit the interior. Like the regular ID.7, Volkswagen builds the ID.7 Tourer at the Volkswagen plant in Emden. After the ID.4, the ID.7 is the second MEB-based model to be built in northwest Germany, just across the border near Groningen.
