June 18, 2024

Hyundai Tucson

The Tucson has been rolling off the factory line in the Czech municipality of Nošovice since June 2015, when the third generation of the popular SUV went into production here. For more than five years, a total of 1,180,445 units of this third generation were produced. Models such as the Kona Electric and i30 are also assembled at this factory. About 65 cars per hour roll off the assembly line. The plant employs nearly 3,300 people, 92 percent of whom are from the Czech Republic. The average worker is over 38 years old and has worked at this plant for more than eight years.

Fourth generation

Currently rolling off the assembly line at the production facility in Nošovice is the updated Tuscon , which will soon appear in showrooms. Of the current generation Hyundai Tuscon, 244,495 units were produced last year, accounting for about 70 percent of total production from Nošovice plant. These cars have been exported to 70 countries around the world. In Europe, most Hyundai Tucson finds its way to the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and France.

Hybrid and PHEV

The Hyundai Tuscon comes as a Hybrid and as a Plug-in Hybrid. In both versions, the new 1.6 T-GDI Smartstream gasoline engine receives support from an electric motor. Both electrified powertrains are in high demand: two of the five Hyundai Tuscons sold in Europe are either a Tuscon Hybrid or a Tucson Plug-in Hybrid.

The redesigned Hyundai Tucson will be in showrooms this summer and will be available starting at 43,995 euros. The entire price list is here. What’s new about the Tucson, you can read below:
