This many copies of the BMW 3.0 CSL gets the Netherlands
BMW 3.0 CSL is car for enthusiasts
The new BMW 3.0 CSL is a car for the enthusiast. This is evident from its looks, but also from its technical characteristics. A 560 hp and 550 Nm six-in-line already results in a smile on your face. That’s not even mentioning the six-speed manual transmission – including white knob on the shift lever – and rear-wheel drive.
Fifty pieces
Technically, the car is based on the current BMW M4, but on the outside there is hardly any sign of it. Its styling is inspired by the legendary model from the early 1970s, also called 3.0 CSL. The BMW 3.0 CSL is finished in Alpinweiß uni with striping in the BMW M colors, which accentuate the lines of the car. The edition of fifty is a reference to the 50th anniversary of BMW M in 2022.
Easy to identify
In the interior, BMW applies a matte black carbon panel with the serial number of the car, i.e. #01/50 to #50/50. This number matches the last digits of the suspension number. Thus, each copy of the new 3.0 CSL is easily identified.
This is how many copies the Netherlands gets
But how many copies of the total of fifty will the Netherlands get? The answer to that question is, “One of the fifty BMW 3.0 CSL models will be delivered to a Dutch customer,” the BMW Netherlands spokesman told AutoRAI.nl. What number the customer gets remains under wraps.
The price
The price tag is reportedly 750,000 euros, excluding government donations. But BMW does not address that. The price remains a secret. “About the price, out of respect to this customer, we make no statements,” the spokesperson concluded.
