This is what the updated Hyundai i10 has to offer
New lighting for Hyundai i10
To ensure that the Hyundai i10 remains a popular choice in the A-segment, the five-door hatchback has undergone several modifications. Both the projector headlights and the LED daytime running lights – front and rear – have been redesigned. The front LED daytime running lights are integrated into a wide grille with newly designed honeycomb structure.
More modifications
At the rear, the combined LED daytime running lights display an “H” on the horizontal line adorning the tailgate. The updated Hyundai i10 also gets newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels. The Hyundai i10 N Line is distinguished by an updated design of the bumpers, inserts and red accents. The seat backs feature triple red line fabric upholstery and the model comes with new 16-inch alloy wheels.
Two new colors
Hyundai delivers the i10 in nine exterior colors. Two of them are completely new: Lumen Grey (light gray color with pearl finish) and Meta Blue (paint with blue-purple-like color reflections and pearl finish). There are also two-tone versions, with the roof in contrasting Phantom Black.
Rich equipment for Hyundai i10
New technologies in the updated Hyundai i10 include a 4.2-inch LCD instrument panel, front and rear USB Type C connectors, the latest generation eCall based on the 4G network and Over The Air (OTA) map updates. Remaining are the 8.0-inch touchscreen, Audio Video Navigation (AVN), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and the latest version of Hyundai Bluelink.
Luggage space
Like its predecessor, the compact midsize car offers 252 liters of luggage space. With the rear seats folded down, the capacity increases to 1,050 liters. Notable features include a double-bottom luggage compartment, a rear seat that folds down in one motion, a rearview camera that supports the driver while parking and electrically folding door mirrors.
Safety systems
The updated Hyundai i10 further offers Hyundai SmartSense that bundles several active safety and driving assistance systems. Emergency Brake Assist Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with pedestrian recognition has now been expanded to include cyclist recognition. FCA helps detect and prevent potential accidents with obstacles in front of the car. Autonomous Lane Assist Lane Following Assist (LFA) helps the driver stay in the center of the lane with subtle steering corrections. Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) reminds the driver with a message in the instrument cluster when the rear door is inadequately closed during travel or to prevent anything or anyone from being left in the back seat after parking.
Summer 2023 in the Netherlands
Production of the updated Hyundai i10 is expected to begin in April 2023 at Hyundai’s factory in Izmit, Turkey. The first examples are expected in showrooms this summer. Prices will follow later.
