This is the new Fiat Grande Panda: comes as a hybrid and BEV!
Fiat Grande Panda is on multi-energy platform
The new Fiat Grande Panda is Fiat’s first model based on a multi-power platform. This also makes the model immediately suitable for worldwide sales. Something increasingly important for Fiat. So the Grande Panda will soon be sold in Europe, the Middle East and even Africa.
A new Fiat every year until 2027
The Grande Panda is the first new product in Fiat’s family. Fiat will present a new vehicle every year until 2027. FIAT’s goal is to produce vehicles on the same global and multi-energy STLA Smart platform that operates in every region of the world, allowing the brand to create many different vehicles and respond to the needs of customers around the world.
125 years of Fiat
Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global CMO, said, “The best way to celebrate FIAT’s 125th anniversary is to start writing the first pages of our future, starting with the new Grande Panda. This compact car is based on a global platform, giving the brand the opportunity to expand its global reach. With the Grande Panda, FIAT now begins the transition to global common platforms that cover all regions of the world, passing on the resulting benefits to its customers around the world. Indeed, the Grande Panda is perfectly suited for families and urban mobility in any country … a true FIAT!”
3.99 meters
The new Grande Panda has a length of 3.99 meters. It operates in the B segment. According to Fiat, it is a full five-seater. A strong point of the model is its design. Historically accurate, yet deliciously modern. On the doors, Fiat incorporated a Panda print. The tailgate also features a Panda badge in the folded sheet metal. Also note the pixelated LED lighting. On the C-pillar, Fiat incorporated a plate with a lenticular effect. Depending on the viewing angle, a Fiat logo or Fiat’s four iconic diagonal stripes are featured. A cool detail!
Photos of the interior are not yet available. Technical details are also still pending. So more Panda news soon! We are curious.
