The Porsche Approved label: everything you need to know
Porsche Approved Occasion
In this article we are going to talk about a Porsche Approved Occasion, or as they say in Belgium, a Porsche Approved Occasie. Porsche has created its own occasion portal for all occasions in a country. For Porsche used models in Belgium, so there is its own website, just like for the Netherlands. This website features an extensive collection of used Porsche models. You can of course filter by new, used and Porsche Approved Occasions.
Control based on 111-point checklist
So why you should choose a Porsche Approved Occasie? Simple, models with this label have been inspected based on the 111-point checklist. Porsche runs the engine and also individual components such as the belts, battery and other important parts, among others. When it comes to the powertrain and floor, Porsche mainly checks the technical aspects, which are important for safety, efficiency and sportiness. Consider the transmission, radiators, brakes, fueling, exhaust system and chassis.
Comprehensive monitoring
The fault memory is also checked. In the interior, Porsche performs as many as 39 out of 111 checkpoints. These are mainly safety-related aspects, but infotainment and multimedia are also covered. Porsche also checks all in- and adjustment options. A critical test drive completes the 111-point check. Porsche uses only genuine Porsche parts in any replacement parts. All work was performed by Porsche-trained technicians, so that’s also reassuring.
The warranty of a Porsche Approved Occasie
Because Porsche itself also believes in the quality of a Porsche Approved model, the dealership provides every certified used car with a minimum 12-month warranty and Porsche Assistance (roadside assistance). Warranty extension is possible, but it costs extra. There is a choice of 12, 14 or 36 months warranty extension. What is very nice is that during the term of the contract, if a defect occurs, you do not have to pay a deductible. There is also no mileage limitation (this applies to Porsche models up to 15 years old). All repairs are covered, including parts and labor. The Porsche Approved warranty extension is valid at any Porsche dealer worldwide. The warranty is also fully transferable. Not only if you sell the car privately, but also if you trade it in at a dealership.
Additional security
So the label gives you just that little bit more certainty at the bottom line. And that can be reassuring before buying your dream Porsche. Of course, you can only spend your hard-earned euros once.
