The cruiser for small bikers?
Kawasaki has had the Vulcan S in its lineup for years. It is a cruiser but of modest caliber. 649 cc is the displacement and the engine produces 61 hp and 62.4 Nm of torque. And that modesty is also reflected in the weight. 229 kg it is roadworthy. While Harley Davidson’s or a BMW R 18 tip the scales above 300 kg.
Kawasaki Vulcan S in new colors
For 2023, the Vulcan S is unchanged, only you can choose a new color: Metallic Matte Carbon Grey with green accents. An alternative is the all-matte black color, which goes well with the tough cruiser character.
Ideal for small riders
The Kawasaki Vulcan S has always been ideal for small motorcyclists due to its seat height of only 705 mm. The saddle is also narrow due to the slim frame. What many do not know: the Vulcan S is extremely adaptable so that taller riders can sit just fine. Up to a length of even 2.10 meters according to Kawasaki.
Footrests, saddle and handlebars adjustable
The contrivance is called ERGO-FIT. The footrests are adjustable to three positions and longer and shorter saddles and different handlebars are available. So if you are tall you don’t have to sit with your knees against your chin.
Vulcan S Performance or Tourer
Kawasaki supplies the Vulcan S in Performance and Tourer versions. With this latest version, you get a passenger backrest on the back of the saddle and two side panniers. Also standard then is a high windshield. There is also a 35 kW version for riders with A2 driver’s license. Prices for 2023 will be announced soon. Starting in November 2022, the cruiser will be at dealerships in its new colors.
