Six new Skoda BEV models planned through 2026, we know which ones!
Six new models from Skoda
With the launch of four all-new electric models and two revamped versions in the Enyaq iV family, Skoda aims to expand its BEV range to six models by 2026. With the ‘Small’ BEV in the small SUV segment, the ‘Compact’ named Elroq in the compact SUV segment, a spacious ‘Combi’ station wagon model and the seven-passenger ‘Space’ SUV, Skoda is going to significantly expand and diversify its all-electric portfolio.
Gasoline engines and plug-in hybrids also remain important
In the course of the transition phase to e-mobility, models with modern and efficient combustion engines as well as plug-in hybrid propulsion remain an important pillar of Skoda model range. With the new generations of the Superb and Kodiaq, the updated Octavia, the Kamiq, the Scala and the new all-electric models, Skoda will soon offer the most comprehensive model lineup in its history.
Klaus Zellmer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Škoda Auto: “With the six new all-electric models to be launched in all segments through 2026, Škoda Auto is taking even bigger steps towards electric mobility. Together with our new, efficient models with conventional and hybrid powertrains, we offer the best of both worlds to meet the needs of our existing and new customers around the world.”
Martin Jahn, board member at Škoda Auto and responsible for sales and marketing: “By 2026, our new all-electric models cover all car segments relevant to our customers. We are going to offer customers the means to explore the world in style – consciously, safely and confidently, with models styled according to our new design language Modern Solid.”
Electric models
The Skoda Enyaq iV and Enyaq Coupe iV were successfully launched in 2020 and 2022, respectively, as the first two Skoda models based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. Both models will be significantly updated by 2025, including a new design language that will also be applied to all electric Skoda models. The next electro-Skodas are in the pipeline:
- ‘Small’, the future entry-level model in the A0 segment
- ‘Compact’, the all-electric successor to the compact Karoq, called Elroq
- ‘Combi,’ continuing Škoda’s successful station wagon tradition
- ‘Space,’ the production version of the 7-seat concept car Vision 7S presented in August 2022
Electric Skoda Combi
The Combi, the brand’s first electric car with station wagon body, is an important addition to the model range. The model embodies Skoda’s core values and brings the strengths of this popular body style to the era of electromobility. All electric models will have the distinctive Modern Solid design language, underlining the brand’s DNA characteristics – robustness, functionality and authenticity.
