Renewed Renault Arkana

For Dutch people who want to drive a hip coupe-SUV but don’t want to hand over a large sum of money to a German manufacturer, Renault has the answer: the Arkana. The French brand introduced the model in 2020 and has now given it a minor facelift. Renault has also simplified the range for the new Arkana to three trim levels: Evolution, Techno and Esprit Alpine. For the powertrain, you have only one choice left: the 145-hp E-Tech full hybrid powertrain.

Evolution

The entry-level model is the Evolution, with a starting price of 34,460 euros. This version comes with the Renault Easy Link multimedia system, including navigation. This system works wirelessly with your smartphone via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you can easily connect your phone to the car.

On the dashboard is a 7-inch digital screen. Although the size of the screen has remained unchanged, the French say it is an improved version designed to make better use of the screen area. This makes it easier for the driver to read driving information.

Techno

The Techno version of the Arkana costs 36,060 euros and can be recognized by an extra sporty bumper with aerodynamic louvers in the body color. In addition, the Techno has the same 18-inch wheels as the R.S. line and E-Tech Engineered versions. The logo and brand letters on the back are done in a Chrome Satin finish.

Esprit Alpine

The top version is the Esprit Alpine, which starts at 39,060 euros. This one features a so-called F1 Blade in the front bumper and a gray color called Gris Schiste Satin. The brand logo also receives the same gray hue, but with a striking black outline in Noir Brillant Profond. The Esprit Alpine version sits on new 19-inch rims with a unique open-work design.

Inside, the chairs are made of a durable combination of ECO TEP and suede. Compared to the R.S. line and E-Tech Engineered versions, the esprit Alpine version has more suede upholstery. The seats feature horizontal blue stitching, and Alpine’s brand logo can be found on the seat backs. The seat belts have two blue stripes. The door panels and steering wheel are decorated with blue-white-red stitching.

From July 26, the new Renault Arkana can be ordered; first units will be in showrooms from November.
