Prices Lotus Eletre: the cheapest Lotus at the moment!

October 26, 2022

Prices and specifications Lotus Eletre

We did not yet know exactly in which flavors the Eletre would hit the market, but fortunately Lotus is now giving us more information about the specifications and corresponding prices of each version of the Eletre. The party starts at 97,690 euros for the Eletre without addition. That entry-level version is by no means a wretch with 612 hp and 710 Nm of torque. Lotus doesn’t dare mention the final weight just yet, but with a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h, the question is to what extent you should grind over that weight.

The Eletre S is identical to the Eletre in terms of specifications, but gets some extra equipment and therefore costs 123,090 euros. More on that later.

With the Eletre R, things get even more exciting as far as technology is concerned. Lotus really immersed it completely in the cauldron of horsepower, resulting in an insane 918 hp and 985 Nm of torque! This gets you to 100 km/h from a standstill in 2.95 seconds and, if desired, pushes you to 265 km/h. That’s what you pay for, as the Eletre R costs 153,090 euros.

In any case, the starting price of the Eletre makes it the cheapest Lotus currently in our country. Actually, that was going to be the Emira, but the starting price of the sports car comes out to well over a ton due to higher CO2 emissions than initially expected.

Range of Lotus Eletre

The Eletre R’s insane power obviously does affect its range. Indeed, Lotus claims a WLTP range of 490 kilometers for the Eletre R, where the Eletre and Eletre S should be able to cover 600 kilometers on a single battery charge. All versions of the Eletre have a 112 kWh capacity battery pack in the bottom. According to Lotus, you can recharge that battery pack at the fast charger from 10 percent to 80 percent in 20 minutes.

Generous standard equipment

Nice of course, that 612 hp for 97,690 euros, but what about the standard equipment? It should be no secret that the times when you pretty much only got two seats and a steering wheel at Lotus are well and truly over. Already standard features of the Eletre include adaptive air suspension, the “intelligent cockpit” infotainment system (including 15.1-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, audio system with 15 speakers), LIDAR sensors for autonomous driving, 12-way power-adjustable front seats and climate control with four temperature zones.

So the Eletre is already pretty complete, but the Eletre S still adds some things to the list. These include privacy glass, an active rear spoiler, configurable ambient lighting, illuminated door sill panels, soft-close doors, automatic dimming side mirrors and an even better 2,160-watt audio system.

If you choose the Eletre R, then you get a car that is primarily focused on sportiness. Compared to the other versions, the Eletre R is lower to the ground and the dampers are tuned a bit tighter. You also get the “Track Mode” setting, where the Eletre’s active grille opens fully and you can launch it mercilessly towards the horizon with launch control. We are already extremely curious!

Expensive options Lotus Eletre

The final price of a Lotus Eletre can add up quickly. That’s because some options are quite pricey. For example, Lotus charges 5,690 euros for 23-inch 5-spoke wheels. For carbon ceramic brakes, you’re 11,860 euros away. The Extended Carbon Pack costs 11,500 euros. Other options include the Comfort Seat Pack (4,600 euros), Interior Carbon Pack (3,390 euros), KEF Premium Audio System (6,660 euros), side cameras (3,030 euros) and an Advanced Pilot Pack (2,420 euros).
