Prices Jeep Avenger: an attractive offer?
From Peugeot to Jeep
Jeep says it has designed the Avenger’ s price list so that the customer can easily put together his/her car. At least the engine no longer needs to be chosen: in fact, that will always be the 156 hp and 260 Nm electric powertrain from Stellantis that we know from several electric Peugeots, among others. That electric motor drives the front wheels and is powered by a battery with a capacity of 54 kWh. This allows the Avenger to travel 392 kilometers according to the WLTP test cycle. Thanks to the maximum charging speed of 100 kW, charging at the fast charger is peaked in about half an hour.
Wireless navigation
The Avenger is available in four versions: Avenger, Longitude, Latitude and Summit. With the base version “Avenger,” there will be no addition after the model name, as that would be a bit duplicative. That entry-level version, by the way, is already pretty well into its stuff. We note LED reflector headlights, an infotainment system with 10.25-inch touchscreen as well as wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, climate control with interior pre-heating, an automatic dimming interior mirror and various ADAS systems. Also funny: the base version sits on nice utilitarian-looking 16-inch steel wheels.
With the other three versions, of course, things only get better in terms of equipment. For example, the Longitude has 16-inch alloy wheels, an audio system with six speakers and rear parking assistance. With the Altitude, on top of that you get a size larger alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, adaptive cruise control and a power trunk lid, among other things. The Summit – the name gives it away – is the summit version. If you opt for the Summit, you get pampering features like Jeep Performance LED headlights and taillights, privacy glass, ambient lighting in multiple colors, power folding mirrors, a rearview camera and parking sensors all around, Blind Spot Monitoring and seat heating.
Clear composition
After choosing a version, are you done putting together the Avenger? Not yet, as Jeep offers a choice of seven exterior colors, which you can also order in a two-tone composition starting with the Longitude. The color of the Avenger in the photos is the striking Sun Yellow, standard the electric Jeep is painted in the equally high-profile “Ruby Red. For less conspicuous colors like white or gray, you have to put at least 750 euros on the table.
In addition to color, you can dress up each trim level with option packages, though Jeep does keep the choice manageable with a total of five packages. For the business driver, there is the Business Pack, which can only be ordered in combination with the Longitude and Altitude. Depending on trim, the Business Pack includes the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a rearview camera, traffic sign recognition, a wireless phone charger and a center console cover.
Prices Jeep Avenger
Jeep Avenger prices start at 37,000 euros for the base ‘Avenger’ version. This is quite a good offer, since the base version of the Peugeot e-2008 – with which the Avenger shares its technical basis – costs more than 38 grand these days. The Longitude is on the price list from 38,500 euros, for the Altitude and Summit you have to check out a minimum of 39,500 euros and 43,500 euros respectively at the Jeep dealer. Orders can be placed immediately, with the first deliveries taking place in the second quarter of this year.
