Nissan introduces extra adventurous X-Trail

Nissan X-Trail N-Trek

The X-Trail is the adventure car at Nissan. Consequently, last year it was named caravan tractor of the year by the ANWB. But now the big SUV is going one step further with the introduction of an extra rugged version, the N-Trek. This new variant stands out for its cool design elements, such as the dark finish of the ‘V-motion grille’ at the front and the gunmetal-colored skidplates on both the front and rear.

Water repellent

In addition, the Nissan X-Trail N-Trek offers a range of robust exterior colors, including metallic paints such as Solid Grey and Champagne Silver to pearlescent paints such as Pearl White, Diamond Black and Ceramic Grey. The seats of the N-Trek feature water-repellent upholstery, making them easy to clean. In addition, Nissan also offers rubber floor mats and a reversible trunk floor plate.

e-Power

Like other X-Trail models, the new N-Trek is available with Nissan’s e-Power powertrain. In this drive variant, the wheels are driven directly by the electric motor, without the intervention of a gearbox. The sole role of the advanced turbocharged three-cylinder engine – with variable compression ratio technology – is to generate electricity, which is sent through the inverter to the electric motor or battery (or both, depending on the driving scenario).

The Dutch market introduction of the new Nissan X-Trail N-Trek will take place in the summer of 2024. Prices Nissan will announce soon.
