New record Verstappen: youngest millionaire in Quote 500
Quote 500
120 million euros. That is the amount Max has driven together in recent years, according to the business magazine Quote. This brings the Red Bull driver in at number 500 in the latest edition of the Quote 500. This makes him the youngest Dutchman ever on the list. It is also the second record Max grabs this week, after becoming the first F1 driver to take a 14th Grand Prix victory in a single season this weekend in Mexico.
Annual salary Max Verstappen
Chances are that Verstappen will rise significantly in the Quote 500 list in the coming years. In March this year, the Dutchman signed a new mega-contract with Red Bull Racing, making the reigning Formula One world champion the highest-paid Dutch athlete ever. Verstappen will remain with the Austrian racing stable until at least 2028, where he will rake in at least 45 million a year, excluding bonuses and sponsorship deals.
Prince Bernhard
Max is not the only motorsports enthusiast in the list. Circuit Zandvoort owner Prince Bernhard also enters the Quote 500 new, at place 481. Thanks to his real estate investments and his software company Levi9, his wealth is estimated at 125 million euros. Of course, he is not the only one in the family with money. The entire Oranje-Nassau family combined ranks in spot 11 of the fifty richest families, with assets of 1.2 billion euros.
