New logo for Honda and new Honda 0 series (2026)
CO2-neutral
Honda aims to be carbon neutral by 2050 for all products and business activities involving Honda. Therefore, the company is pursuing electrification to meet its car electrification goal of “increasing the ratio of EV and FCEV sales worldwide to 100% by 2040.
Honda 0 series
The Honda 0 series then, what should we expect from it? The name of the series stands for Honda’s determination to meet this challenge of developing new EV series by going back to Honda’s starting point as an automaker and creating completely new EVs from “scratch.” This new EV series centers on the M/M concept, among other things. Explain: the concept of “Man Maximum, Machine Minimum” is a basic approach to the design of Honda cars, an approach to increase the efficiency of the car’s interior by maximizing space for people and minimizing the space required for mechanical parts.
In 2026, Honda will begin worldwide introduction of the first Honda 0 Series model, starting in North America and then in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and South America.

About the Honda 0 Series
The idea behind the “0” (zero) also relates to multiple facets, such as striving for “zero” environmental impact and “zero” traffic accidents. Honda is committed to achieving “zero environmental impact” throughout the vehicle life cycle, including business activities and “zero fatal traffic accidents” involving Honda motorcycles and cars.
In developing the Honda 0 Series, the development team went back to Honda’s starting point and rethought what kind of EVs Honda wants to make in the coming era. Honda aims to create new value for EVs by overcoming the limitations of “fat and heavy” because of the large and heavy battery required to ensure a sufficient range, as well as a large and heavy body and platform required to accommodate such batteries. Honda describes this new approach to EV development as “thin, light and wise.
- Thin: Increase design potential, including styling with a low vehicle height and achieve excellent aerodynamic performance by using a “thin” dedicated EV platform to create a low floor height.
- Light: Realizing sporty driving and electricity performance that defies people’s established beliefs about EVs through original Honda technologies created by going back to Honda’s starting point as an automaker.
- Wise: realizing Honda’s original software-defined mobility products by using the knowledge Honda has accumulated to date and making cars wiser through the advancement of intelligent technologies.
Two concept models
To warm up the public for the Honda 0 series, the Japanese are presenting two study models: the Honda Saloon and Honda Space-Hub.
Honda Saloon
The Saloon is the flagship concept model of the Honda 0 Series, embodying the approach “Thin, light and wise. The special EV architecture increases the degree of freedom in design and takes the M/M concept to the next level in the age of EVs. The low, sporty styling that distinguishes the Saloon from other EVs at first glance realizes both a compelling design and an interior that is more spacious than people might imagine based on appearance. Moreover, the instrument panel has a human-machine interface (HMI) that enables simple and intuitive operations and realizes an advanced and seamless user interface (UI). With great visibility and an intuitive user interface, the Saloon strives for a pleasurable driving experience that matches the driver’s feel.
With the application of steer-by-wire and the further development of the motion management system, including attitude control, that Honda has built up through the development of original robotic technologies, the Saloon is aimed at realizing control at the will of the driver in a variety of driving situations. As the flagship of the Honda 0 Series, the sedan pursues the ultimate in “driving pleasure” in the EV era. Moreover, including the use of sustainable materials for the interior and exterior, the Saloon is being developed as a unique model that resonates with its users and the natural environment.

Honda Space-Hub
Under the common design language of the Honda 0 Series, the Space-Hub was developed with the theme of “augmenting people’s daily lives. With its spacious cabin and excellent visibility, based on the “Thin, Light and Wise” development approach, the Space-Hub provides a flexible space that immediately meets what users want to do and becomes a hub that connects people with people and people with society, creating a mutual resonance with each other.

About the new H logo
The current “H logo” has a long history, dating back to 1981 when it was revamped from the previous version. To celebrate the development of the next generation of EVs, Honda decided to design a new H logo, which stands for Honda Cars, to express Honda’s determination to continue the transformation, as well as Honda’s corporate stance to go beyond Honda’s origins and continuously pursue new challenges and progress. This design expression, like two outstretched hands, represents Honda’s commitment to expanding the possibilities of mobility and genuinely meeting the needs of Honda EV users. This new H logo will be used on Honda’s next-generation EVs, including Honda 0-series models.
