New colors for Honda Gold Wing

Since its introduction as a naked 1000cc in 1975, the Honda Gold Wing has always been the epitome of two-wheeled travel. Back then with a four-cylinder boxer engine, but today it has a silky smooth running six-cylinder boxer engine. Then we are talking about the current GL1800 Gold Wing models. They are among the most luxurious and heaviest touring motorcycles.

GL1800 colors 2023

For 2023, the GL1800 Gold Wing is available exclusively with Honda’s unique Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) automatic transmission and in the new Iridium Gray Metallic/Mat Pearl Morion Black color scheme, with red details on the engine.

The GL1800 Gold Wing Tour with DCT and airbag gets two new colors for 2023: Graphite Black with brown sump covers and Beta Silver Metallic/Iridium Gray Metallic. That color range is complemented by Pearl Glare White. The Graphite Black option is also available with regular transmission.

Honda tire pressure monitoring

An additional safety-oriented upgrade for 2023 for both the GL1800 Gold Wing and GL1800 Gold Wing Tour comes in the form of a new tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) integrated into the 7-inch full-color TFT display. The tire pressure is displayed in the lower left corner of the instrument panel, and the new TPMS illuminates a clear and bright warning light if the pressure is not optimal.
