MV Agusta Testalarga is sweet

MV Agusta is known for its beautiful motorcycles. The Rush , Brutale, Dragster, Turismo Veloce and the F3 are all beautiful machines. The same goes for the Superveloce 800, a modern interpretation of MV Agusta’s iconic styling, which serves as the basis for the unique Testalarga.

Testalarga, which freely translated means something like a ‘broad head’, can be recognized by its own design elements. Features include a perforated suede seat, leather strap over the tank, perforated fairing and unique color scheme. Furthermore, the Testalarga has the same gold color on the frame and wheels as the superveloce.

Testalarga performance

The Italians do not (yet) share a lot of information about the special one-off. The only data we have to deal with is that the engine sprints from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.05 seconds. That’s slightly faster than the Superveloce 800 , which takes 3.2 seconds. Furthermore, it takes 9 seconds to get from 0 to 200 km/h. The power source will most likely be a three-cylinder again, which is so characteristic of MV Agusta. Whether this has the same 798cc content is therefore not certain.

There is no date yet for the announcement of the MV Agusta one-off, but judging by the photos, it shouldn’t be long.
