MINI John Cooper Works returns!
Nürburgring
The new MINI John Cooper Works will make its first appearance at the Nürburgring 24-hour race, one of the toughest endurance races in the world. Drivers and teams are challenged to conquer the iconic Nürburgring-Nordschleife in a grueling 24-hour race.
With gasoline engine!
The new gasoline MINI John Cooper Works pays homage to the iconic red and white color schemes used for classic Minis in motorsports in the 1960s. Hence, the prototype was done in this camouflage. As a nod to Mini’s historic victory of the Mini Cooper S at the 1964 Rallye Monte Carlo, 60 years ago, the race car features a distinctive 37 logo commemorating this milestone. This emblem is a tribute to MINI’s rich motorsports tradition.
#317
The new John Cooper Works #317 is entered by Nürburg-based private racing team, Bulldog Racing, and competes in the SP 3T category. The MINI Twin-Power Turbo race car is nicknamed MINI John Cooper Works PRO.
#474
The second entry is the black manual MINI John Cooper Works #474, which managed a podium finish at last year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring. In doing so, he proved his prowess against fierce competition in the VT-2 category, cementing his status in the endurance race.
As gasoline or 100% electric
The new MINI John Cooper Works will celebrate its world premiere in the fall of 2024. The new MINI John Cooper Works series will be available in both gasoline and all-electric versions.
