Lexus RZ 450e gets update and lower price tag

Less than a year ago, we drove the Lexus RZ 450e for the first time. Back then, you had to shell out a minimum of 67,495 euros for the entry-level Comfort Line. Before 2024, Lexus will put the electric SUV on showrooms with a lower price tag. For the Comfort Line, you will now pay a minimum of 61,995 euros. For that money, you get a car that is already nice in the stuff. Things like a 14-inch large infotainment screen, cloud-based navigation, “Hey Lexus!” voice control, ten-speaker Lexus Audio sound system, front and rear USB-C ports and a wireless phone charger are standard. Also standard features include front seat heating, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an automatic dimming interior mirror, a rain sensor and automatic headlight adjustment for the LED lights.

Executive Line and Luxury Line

The second trim level is the RZ 450e Executive Line, which is further equipped with vegan leather upholstery, steering wheel heating and power-adjustable front seats, additional soundproof side windows, roof rails and a power tailgate. The version is available from 64,995 euros. The RZ 450e Luxury Line is available from 68,995 euros and features 20-inch polished alloy wheels, an electrically adjustable steering column, a memory function for the driver’s seat, front seat ventilation, Smart Entry and a Head-Up Display with touch control buttons on the steering wheel.

President Line

The top model of the Lexus RZ 450e is the President Line. Lexus previously asked 77,595 euros for this variant, but now settles for 72,995 euros. It is equipped with just about all the fancy stuff Lexus has to offer. Think Ultra Suede seat covers, front and rear seat heaters, front seat ventilation, a power-adjustable steering column and infrared heating for the driver and front passenger. The RZ 450e President Line also gets as standard a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, Intelligent Park Assist and a Parking Assist Camera with Panoramic View Monitor. Optionally, the version can be ordered with a dimmable and heat-reflective panoramic roof. This option costs 2,200 euros.

Effective immediately

The Lexus RZ 450e can be ordered immediately at the new prices. Models already at the dealership also benefit from the new prices. As with any Lexus, the RZ 450e also carries a warranty period of up to 10 years and 200,000 kilometers. The battery pack is guaranteed for up to 15 years and 1,000,000 kilometers.
