Lexus NX Overtrail: extra adventurous SUV
Not a purpose-built offroader
Alongside the luxurious President Line and the sporty F SPORT Line, the Overtrail represents a new premium model within the Lexus NX lineup. The execution is more focused on adventure and travel. It is not a purposeful off-roader, according to Lexus, but the modifications do make the Lexus NX Overtrail better suited to off-roading as well.
Features Lexus NX Overtrail
Features of the Lexus NX Overtrail include increased ground clearance and 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires. The ground clearance of the NX Overtrail has been increased by 15 mm to 200 mm, bringing the total vehicle height to 1,675 mm and making the car even more capable in rougher terrain. At the same time, dynamic performance has been taken to the next level thanks to the strengthened rear suspension. The housing of the exterior mirror caps, door handles, wheel arches and roof rails have a black finish. The distinctive Spindle Grille is further highlighted with a bright metallic and polished frame and grille.
New color: Moon Desert
These details are a stark contrast to the new body color Moon Desert, a sand-colored metallic hue exclusive to the Lexus NX Overtrail to complement the six other body colors. The brand name “LEXUS” on the tailgate, executed in gray, also immediately catches the eye.
Interior
The interior also has an exclusive look. The front sport seats are upholstered in black faux leather with supportive side cheeks in Khaki. The door panels and storage compartment in the center console also come in Khaki with new Geo Layer inserts inspired by the pattern of natural stone layers.
As a Hybrid and as a Plug-in Hybrid
The new Overtrail version is available with a choice of all the powertrains available for the Lexus NX in the Netherlands: the NX 350h hybrid and the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid. The Lexus NX Overtrail is available for immediate order.
