Kia EV9: You’ve never seen a Kia that big!
Opposites United design language
The design of the EV9 is the result of Kia’s “Opposites United” design language, where the brand says elegant lines and angular shapes merge into a modern, stylish SUV. The front of the EV9 is defined by the latest evolution of Kia’s famous “Tiger Face,” with a body-colored grille.
‘Star Map’ LED technology
The striking vertical headlights and narrow LED daytime running lights that extend horizontally into the car’s flanks visually enhance the EV9’s width. The small high-gloss cooling vents and bottom plate protection enhance the design, and the innovative “Star Map” LED technology provides a new lighting experience and an animated light pattern. This technology will also find its way into Kia’s future EVs. The design of the narrow taillight units matches that of the headlights.
Electric Global Modular Platform
Thanks to Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV9 has a long wheelbase and a completely flat floor. The EV9 will be available with a six- or seven-seat configuration. The seats in the first and second rows can be placed in a reclining position while charging. The second-row seats swivel 180 degrees and the third-row seats have cup holders and charging points for mobile devices.
Two 12.3-inch screens
The interior’s floating panoramic dashboard extends from the steering wheel into the center console. It includes two 12.3-inch screens and an additional display for an impressive digital experience and effortless control of functions, without too many buttons. The large, high-resolution audio visual, navigation & telematics (AVNT) screen in the EV9 provides access to various functions. Below this screen are several haptic buttons, including for multimedia controls and climate control.
World premiere in late March
The Kia EV9 will have its world premiere on March 28.
