Jaguar F-Type 75: end of F-Type in sight
2024 model year closes career Jaguar F-Type
To mark the final model year of the Jaguar F-Type and 75 years of Jaguar sports cars, customers can choose from new special editions for the 2024 model year: the Jaguar F-Type 75 and F-Type R 75. Unique to these versions are subtle badges on the side screens and the color Giola Green metallic.
20-inch wheels
Each version comes standard with 20-inch rims. The F-Type 75 and F-Type R 75 versions stand out with Gloss Black five-spoke rims and Gloss Black & Contrast Diamond Turned Finish ten-spoke rims, respectively. The F-Type R 75 is equipped with specially developed Pirelli P Zero tires in size 265/35 ZR 20 at the front and 305/30 ZR 20 at the rear.
Optimized undercarriage
The chassis of the Jaguar F-Type 75 and F-Type R 75 has been further improved with rear wheel carriers made of lightweight, form-fitting cast aluminum. These, together with the larger wheel bearings, provide better contact with the road surface. For the F-Type R 75, this aspect has been further optimized through the use of new upper ball joints, which further improve wheel camber and toe-in. Both versions have an electronically controlled rear differential (EAD).
Other colors for badges
Jaguar has also tweaked some things about the badges for the final model year of the F-Type – starting in early 2023. The color of the hub cap in the rims and the badge in the grille are now black instead of red. The R and R-Dynamic badges are now black and gray instead of red and green.
Active exhaust system
Every engine variant comes standard with a switchable active exhaust system, including the four-cylinder F-Type. The exhaust sound characteristic of the Jaguar F-Type at high revs and throttle remains.
Quiet Start function
Customers who choose the V8 benefit from the Quiet Start feature. With this, the engine makes a more subtle, refined sound during starting. Electronically-controlled bypass valves in the rear muffler open only at a certain pressure, releasing the characteristic roar. If desired, the Quiet Start function can be turned off by switching on Dynamic Mode or by pressing the button on the active exhaust system before starting.
