Isotta Fraschini is back from the road, huh who?
From track to street
“Isotta Fraschini is back in the automotive world and starting again from the racetrack, exactly like 120 years ago with the goal of reaching the street!” With those words, the Milan-based company is preparing for the future.
Collaboration with Michelotto Engineering
Isotta Fraschini is making a comeback thanks to a collaboration with Michelotto Engineering, a Venice-based company. Michelotto is a well-known partner of Ferrari in GT racing. The LMH racer will be presented in Milan in February 2023. The track debut will take place at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the third event on the WEC 2023 calendar. Of course, participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans is also on the agenda in 2023.
Car brand from Milan
Developing racing cars, in addition to elegant street cars, has always been an integral part of the Milanese brand’s DNA, bringing Isotta Fraschini fame around the world. Now, however, ask a bystander on the street about Isotta Fraschini and you are guaranteed to get question marks. But that has to change. Participation should put the brand back on the world map with the long-term goal of developing street cars. The brand is aiming for “various road cars,” including a two-seat hypercar based on the WEC racer.
