Hypercar Peugeot 9X8 just on sale for everyone thanks to LEGO Technic

The LEGO Group and Peugeot Sport design teams have teamed up to create an accurate 1:10 scale miniature of the 9X8 hypercar. The LEGO model features an exact scale replica of the seven-speed electric transmission as well as the unique doors of the all-wheel-drive hypercar.

Glow-in-the-dark light elements

The miniature 9X8 has the same profile as the real 9X8 and under the skin there are fantastic details such as the powerful V6 engine and suspension. The whole thing is completed by glow-in-the-dark light elements to perfectly capture the thrill of racing.

When fully assembled, the latest addition to the LEGO Technic series measures over 50 cm long, 22 cm wide and 13 cm high. The LEGO version of the hypercar will be available for order through LEGO Stores, www.lego.com and through Peugeot’s dealer network starting May 1, 2023.

It took a year to fully develop the project with both the technical and design teams so that we could transfer the distinctive details of the PEUGEOT 9X8 directly to the LEGO Technic model. It was very important for both brands to create the most realistic model possible. PEUGEOT, Peugeot Sport and the LEGO teams had numerous meetings on how to recreate the suspension and hybrid systems.
