In the 1 minute and 31 second trailer, we see the first images of Grand Theft Auto VI. The game is set in Vice City, a fictional city inspired by Miami, located in Florida. This is not the first time a GTA game has been set in this city. Back in 2002, for example, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released. For the sixth installment in the GTA series, the game is once again set in Vice City.

The first images look promising and almost cinematic. Rockstar Games has almost put together the compilation of the first trailer as a kind of movie trailer, including a fitting soundtrack by Tom Petty called Love Is A Long Road. Speaking of which, a 2024 release date is not in the cards. Fans’ patience will be tested for a while, as Grand Theft Auto 6 will not be released until 2025.

Nice lot of cars!

As in any GTA game, the character can move around using various means of transportation. All cars are inspired by existing models. In the trailer, for example, we already see cars appearing on screen that closely resemble the Porsche 911, Ferrari Testarossa, Dodge Challenger, Lamborghini Aventador and a Chrysler 300C. Of course, planes and helicopters can also be flown and there are more than enough two-wheelers available.

What consoles?

The game will be released on the Playstation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. The title may also reappear on the PC.
