In 2022, 4.2 million summer vacations (35 percent) took the plane, a decrease of 1 million flights from 2019 when it was thus 44 percent. The reason the car is so popular? A car offers the ultimate feeling of freedom. Besides, you don’t have to fly halfway around the world to see beautiful things first. You simply step in and the vacation has already begun.
