Formula One drivers take the hairpin turn in Monaco at about 65 mph. ‘Then my Ami must be able to do the same at top speed,’ was perhaps the thought going through the driver’s mind as he took the turn. The Ami landed on two wheels and slid on its side against the posts beside the road. Fortunately, the pedestrians present at the time were walking a little further from the road, otherwise this accident could have had a very different tail….

It seems that this Ami driver was simply overconfident, because at a slower speed, this accident could have been easily avoided on sight. A passerby was present and filmed the unusual scene. Watch and judge for yourself!
