BMW X2

Filling gaps in the model range is something that you can leave to the German brands. In 2016 we were introduced to the BMW Concept X2, a harbinger of a completely new SUV-like for between the X1 and X3. In 2017, the concept car went into production almost unchanged.

Two, three and four

The BMW X2 shares its platform with the BMW X1 and Mini Countryman, meaning the car basically has front-wheel drive and a three-cylinder engine. Four-cylinder engines and four-wheel drive are of course on the option list.

engines

The three-cylinder has a capacity of 1.5 liters and produces 138 hp. The most powerful ‘normal’ engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 228 hp for both petrol and diesel. There is no thoroughbred M version of the X2, but an M35i is in the price list. Then the same four-cylinder engine suddenly delivers 302 hp.
