BMW Ix3

BMW has been supplying a fully electric version of the BMW i3 for some time now. Like the BMW i8, the i3 was developed from the start as a (partly) electrically powered car. In 2020 BMW introduced a new all-electric i-model: the iX3. A difference with the earlier models is that the iX3 is a fully electrically powered version of a regular production model: the X3.

Large range
The BMW iX3 is largely the same as the regular X3. The biggest difference is the all-electric powertrain. It has a power of 286 hp and allows the car to sprint to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. More important in practice: the range is no less than 460 kilometers according to the new WLTP cycle.

Richly equipped
Another difference with the regular BMW X3 is that the iX3 is extra richly equipped as standard. Almost all available equipment is standard with the iX3, you really only have to choose the rims and body color. Furthermore, the luggage compartment with a capacity of 510 liters is hardly smaller than with the regular X3, while the battery pack for a lower center of gravity of the car.
