BMW 4 series gran coupe

In 1975 the line of BMW 3 Series models started with only a two-door sedan (coupé) and a convertible. The first generation was not available in other body styles. We are now several decades and six generations further. It is precisely the coupé version that has now split off with the Cabrio into the 4 Series. A new body style was also added: the 4 Series Gran Coupé.

M4 or M Sport?

The reclassification of BMW’s model range ensures that the BMW M3 is now only available as a sedan. The better known M3 Coupé now continues as the M4 Coupé. Incidentally, this at least 431 hp strong sports version is also available as a convertible. Those who prefer a 4 Series Gran Coupe will have to make do with an M Sport package.

New Generation

The current, second-generation 4 Series became available in the second half of 2020. Perhaps the most striking feature of the new model is the design with an extra-large grille, which extends almost all the way down to the road surface. It would refer to historical models such as the 328. In any case, it provides a very recognizable appearance.
