Brabus turns Maybach GLS into a brutal monster

This is the Brabus 900 SUV, a performance SUV based on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. It may be just us, but we see something completely different when we look at the photos. The flowing lines of the Maybach GLS have remained somewhat, but otherwise it is a dark, brutal monster. We do not see ‘high-end elegance’ in it. The black paint and carbon fiber parts give it a sinister look  — and how about those rims. The Brabus 900 SUV is also an aggressive beast under the skin.

Limited to 320 km/h

The 4.0-liter V8 from the Maybach has been drilled up to 4.5 liters and the crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons are made of a stronger material. In addition, the engine is equipped with two Brabus turbos. Thanks to some engine tuning, the SUV is lifted to 900 hp and 1,250 Nm. Because this monstrous torque rips the tires to shreds, it is limited to 1,050 Nm. The same goes for the top speed, which is limited to 320 km/h, again to save the tires. The four-wheel drive SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. It is not yet clear what it will cost. It will undoubtedly be a monstrous amount.
