BMW i7 M70 xDrive is super-powerful

November 2, 2023

Highest system power

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive delivers the highest system output ever for a BMW Group all-electric vehicle and marks a new milestone for BMW M GmbH in its transformation of electric mobility. Following the launch of the BMW i4 M50 – the world’s best-selling BMW M GmbH model in 2022 – and the BMW iX M60, this is now the company’s third high-performance model with an all-electric powertrain.

660 hp and 1,100 Nm!

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive is powered by two electric motors, each on its own axis, delivering a maximum system output of 485 kW (660 hp) and accelerating to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. M-specific design features along the flanks and at the rear of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive clearly show the performance character of the top model variant. The model’s system torque comes out to 1,100 Nm. Cheap the car is not, as in the Netherlands the model costs a minimum of 191,875 euros.

Electric range

The electric range of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive comes from 538 to 559 kilometers, depending on equipment. The battery has a gross capacity of 105.7 kWh, of which 101.7 kWh is net. Charging can be done at a fast charger with a charging power of 195 kW. Charging from 10 to 80 percent then takes 34 minutes.
