\u00c9valuation du groupe motopropulseur<\/h2>\n

Expos\u00e9 aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des pr\u00e9sentations des partenaires de d\u00e9veloppement Yamaha Motor et XING Mobility, le prototype sera utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins d’essai et d’\u00e9valuation pendant que la marque travaille \u00e0 la production \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Apr\u00e8s l’assemblage du prototype dans le centre de R&D de TOKYO au Japon, le v\u00e9hicule de d\u00e9veloppement a commenc\u00e9 l’\u00e9valuation initiale du groupe motopropulseur, y compris l’essieu \u00e9lectronique de Yamaha Motor, et les essais d’endurance du ch\u00e2ssis. <\/p>\n

Fluide di\u00e9lectrique<\/h2>\n

Ce prototype Caterham Project V permet \u00e9galement de poursuivre les essais du syst\u00e8me de batterie CTP. Les cellules de la batterie sont immerg\u00e9es dans un fluide di\u00e9lectrique qui assure un refroidissement optimal par une dissipation rapide et homog\u00e8ne de la chaleur. Un fluide di\u00e9lectrique est un liquide qui ne conduit pas l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, mais l’isole. Vous pouvez donc y plonger des composants \u00e9lectriques en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sans provoquer de court-circuit. Cette approche offre une tr\u00e8s grande stabilit\u00e9 thermique, avec des avantages en termes de densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de performance. <\/p>\n

Nouveau PDG de Caterham Cars<\/h2>\n

Kazuho Takahashi, le nouveau PDG de Caterham Cars<\/a>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Il s’agit d’une \u00e9tape importante dans le d\u00e9veloppement du projet V, notre prototype ayant fait ses d\u00e9buts en public au Tokyo Auto Salon. Cette nouvelle \u00e9tape nous permet de nous lancer dans un vaste programme d’essais avec nos partenaires techniques. Notre objectif reste inchang\u00e9 : concr\u00e9tiser notre vision d’une voiture de sport enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique qui incarne l’ADN inimitable de Caterham.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Construit en dehors du Royaume-Uni<\/h2>\n

La Caterham Project V, 100% \u00e9lectrique, sera construite en dehors du Royaume-Uni. Caterham Cars ne peut pas encore confirmer o\u00f9 cela se fera. Cela d\u00e9pend notamment des conditions \u00e9conomiques et des fournisseurs ad\u00e9quats. Le projet V sera construit par un constructeur ext\u00e9rieur. Il y a plusieurs parties dans le monde qui font cela. VDL aux Pays-Bas en est un exemple, mais Caterham n’a pas encore fait son choix. La marque se concentre d’abord sur la production de prototypes. Ensuite, le lancement sur le march\u00e9 suivra. <\/p>\n

Les prochaines mesures apr\u00e8s 2026<\/h2>\n

Selon Caterham Cars, l’int\u00e9r\u00eat pour le Project V provient principalement d’un nouveau groupe cible, comme nous l’avait indiqu\u00e9 l’ancien PDG Bob Laishley lors d’une pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente interview<\/a>. Bob : \u00ab\u00a0Seuls 20 % des personnes int\u00e9ress\u00e9es sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 propri\u00e9taires d’une Caterham. Nous lisons souvent sur les m\u00e9dias sociaux : \u00ab\u00a0Belle voiture, mais je veux un moteur \u00e0 essence\u00a0\u00bb. Mais en interne, nous n’avons jamais s\u00e9rieusement envisag\u00e9 cette possibilit\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s tout, nous ne nous attendons pas \u00e0 pouvoir trouver un groupe motopropulseur appropri\u00e9 \u00e0 l’avenir et nous ne pouvons pas nous permettre de d\u00e9velopper un moteur en interne. Il suffit de trouver un groupe motopropulseur avec une transmission manuelle. Le projet V doit durer longtemps pour que l’investissement soit rentabilis\u00e9 et, \u00e0 l’heure o\u00f9 le monde se tourne vers l’\u00e9lectrique, une variante \u00e0 essence n’a gu\u00e8re de sens. La voiture sera commercialis\u00e9e apr\u00e8s 2026. Pour l’instant, nous sommes satisfaits de nos partenaires tels que Yamaha pour le groupe motopropulseur et XING Mobility pour les batteries. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
