Aqua Sport<\/h2>\n

\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, il s’agit d’une Mustang<\/a> ordinaire, jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’elle entre dans un lac – et ne s’arr\u00eate pas. Au lieu de couler, elle flotte calmement. Cette cr\u00e9ation insolite, la Ford Aqua Sport, est le projet d’un concessionnaire Ford am\u00e9ricain, Jim Eicher, et de son fils. Ils l’ont construite sur la base d’une Mustang de 1999 – pour les connaisseurs : une SN95, c’est-\u00e0-dire la quatri\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de l’embl\u00e9matique pony car. <\/p>\n

Pas de rugissement de V8<\/h3>\n

Il s’agit donc d’un projet sympathique et ludique, dont seule la motorisation est un peu d\u00e9cevante. Sous le capot, on ne trouve pas un gros V8, mais un moteur bicylindre de 500 cm3 provenant d’une moto. Par cons\u00e9quent, l’Aqua Sport n’est pas rapide, mais la vitesse n’est probablement pas le but recherch\u00e9 ici non plus. <\/p>\n

Technologie flottante<\/h3>\n

Sous la carrosserie se trouve un syst\u00e8me hydraulique qui fournit jusqu’\u00e0 2 000 psi \u00e0 une h\u00e9lice situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l’arri\u00e8re. Ainsi, l’Aqua Sport se d\u00e9place calmement sur l’eau. Eicher est fier de dire : \u00ab\u00a0Ce n’est peut-\u00eatre pas un bateau rapide, ni une voiture rapide, mais c’est un v\u00e9hicule amphibie \u00e0 cent pour cent. Et partout o\u00f9 je le conduis sur l’eau, les gens le regardent avec \u00e9tonnement\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em> <\/p>\n
