Tr\u00e8s peu d&rsquo;exemplaires de ce mod\u00e8le ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits. A notre connaissance, il n&rsquo;y en a eu que treize. Cette voiture rouge est la seule aux Pays-Bas. Fait remarquable : bien que le volant soit \u00e0 gauche, le levier de vitesse est \u00e9galement \u00e0 gauche. Il faudra peut-\u00eatre un peu de temps pour s&rsquo;y habituer.     <\/p>\n<h2>Quatre cylindres Cosworth de 2,3 litres<\/h2>\n<p>Sous le capot se trouve un puissant quatre cylindres Cosworth de 2,3 litres bas\u00e9 sur un Ford Duratec. Ce moteur offre des performances impressionnantes : 260 ch et 271 Nm de couple. Cela se traduit par un temps de 0 \u00e0 100 en seulement 3,1 secondes. Par ailleurs, la Brooke Double R260 Cosworth ne p\u00e8se que 600 kilogrammes. Ce qui la place dans la m\u00eame cat\u00e9gorie qu&rsquo;une Caterham, dont certaines versions sont \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9es de ce groupe motopropulseur.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/brooke-double-r260-cosworth-foto7-1140x855.jpg\" alt=\"Brooke Double R260 Cosworth\" class=\"wp-image-187920\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Ch\u00e2ssis en acier tubulaire<\/h2>\n<p>Le placement du moteur dans un ch\u00e2ssis tubulaire en acier \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re permet une excellente r\u00e9partition des masses, mais il faut bien s\u00fbr savoir ce que l&rsquo;on fait. Car ce Brooke ne devrait rien savoir de l&rsquo;ABS et de l&rsquo;ESP. Le port d&rsquo;un casque est \u00e9galement recommand\u00e9, car l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;un pare-brise int\u00e9gral est flagrante. Le p\u00e9dalier r\u00e9glable permet aux conducteurs de diff\u00e9rentes tailles de prendre place \u00e0 bord de cette voiture.   <\/p>\n<h2>Diff\u00e9rentiel \u00e0 glissement limit\u00e9 Quaife<\/h2>\n<p>La forme de cette Brooke est particuli\u00e8rement frappante, car elle rappelle les \u00ab\u00a0cigar racers\u00a0\u00bb des ann\u00e9es 1950 et 1960. Les freins sont \u00e9galement remarquables : il s&rsquo;agit de freins AP Racing avec quatre pistons par \u00e9trier. La puissance de 260 ch est transmise aux roues arri\u00e8re par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire d&rsquo;un diff\u00e9rentiel \u00e0 glissement limit\u00e9 Quaife. La suspension de la Brooke Double R260 est inspir\u00e9e des voitures de course et comporte des amortisseurs et des bielles r\u00e9glables.   <\/p>\n<h2>\u00c9tiquette de prix<\/h2>\n<p>Cet exemplaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 2008 et n&rsquo;a parcouru que 9 556 km. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brooksclassics.nl\/cars\/2008-brooke-double-r260-cosworth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prix : 37 800 euros<\/a>.
