Cette technologie est maintenant utilis\u00e9e pour d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux syst\u00e8mes de production d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 durables et efficaces.<\/p>\n<p>Les SOFC peuvent \u00eatre facilement combin\u00e9es avec des reformeurs. Ils fonctionnent \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es et peuvent produire de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne. L&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne est obtenu par reformage de divers combustibles qui r\u00e9agissent avec l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne, notamment l&rsquo;\u00e9thanol, le gaz naturel et le GPL. La r\u00e9action favorise une activit\u00e9 catalytique \u00e9lev\u00e9e, ce qui permet \u00e0 la SOFC d&rsquo;atteindre des rendements allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 70 %, contre 60 % avec les piles \u00e0 combustible \u00e0 polym\u00e8re solide (PEFC, Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell).<\/p>\n<p>En outre, le d\u00e9veloppement d&rsquo;une cellule \u00e0 support m\u00e9tallique &#8211; un composant de la pile SOFC &#8211; contribuera \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9sistance de la cellule. Cela permet de r\u00e9duire les temps de d\u00e9marrage et d&rsquo;arr\u00eat et de r\u00e9pondre aux fluctuations de la demande d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Le<sub>CO2<\/sub> lib\u00e9r\u00e9 par le bio\u00e9thanol de sorgho pendant la production d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans une SOFC est absorb\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re pendant le processus de croissance du sorgho, ce qui contribue \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation d&rsquo;un cycle neutre en carbone o\u00f9 les<sub>augmentations de CO2<\/sub> sont effectivement r\u00e9duites \u00e0 z\u00e9ro.<\/p>\n<h2>Caract\u00e9ristiques du sorgho<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Plante herbac\u00e9e de la famille des gramin\u00e9es qui pousse rapidement et peut \u00eatre r\u00e9colt\u00e9e en trois mois environ. Il permet plusieurs r\u00e9coltes par an s&rsquo;il est cultiv\u00e9 dans des conditions ad\u00e9quates.<\/li>\n<li>Le sorgho peut \u00eatre cultiv\u00e9 dans un grand nombre de r\u00e9gions et sur diff\u00e9rents sols gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;adaptation au froid et \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse.<\/li>\n<li>La tige est utilis\u00e9e comme mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re pour l&rsquo;\u00e9thanol et le grain est utilis\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;alimentation, ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de concurrence avec la production alimentaire.<\/li>\n<li>Apr\u00e8s le pressage, le reste de la tige peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re dans les usines de biomasse.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Changements majeurs<\/h2>\n<p>Kazuhiko Murata, vice-pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;entreprise charg\u00e9 de l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie et du d\u00e9veloppement de la production du groupe motopropulseur, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00a0\u00bb Des changements majeurs se produisent dans la transition du moteur \u00e0 combustion interne vers les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. L&rsquo;objectif est \u00e9galement d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrifier compl\u00e8tement l&rsquo;usine d&rsquo;ici l\u00e0 en introduisant des technologies de production innovantes et en r\u00e9duisant la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. Pour atteindre la neutralit\u00e9 carbone dans les installations de production, toute l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e devra \u00eatre produite \u00e0 partir de sources d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie
