La Jaguar E-Type est un classique embl\u00e9matique qui n\u00e9cessite peu d’explications. Vous pouvez encore les voir rouler pendant les mois d’\u00e9t\u00e9, mais en hiver, ils sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en s\u00e9curit\u00e9, propres et secs dans le garage. Si ce n’est celle-ci, que notre coll\u00e8gue Bart a trouv\u00e9e dans la cour du mus\u00e9e Louwman. Dans cette cour, les visiteurs du mus\u00e9e sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 se garer s’ils viennent au mus\u00e9e dans une voiture \u00e2g\u00e9e de 40 ans ou plus. Il y a donc un espace de stationnement appropri\u00e9 pour cet \u00e9l\u00e9gant classique.<\/p>\n

Propri\u00e9taire et Type E ensemble depuis longtemps<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Cette Jaguar E-Type est d’autant plus sp\u00e9ciale qu’elle est d’origine hollandaise ! Le connaisseur l’a peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9j\u00e0 constat\u00e9 \u00e0 la lecture du num\u00e9ro d’immatriculation. \u00c0 l’\u00e9poque, le M n’\u00e9tait pas r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux motos. La Jaguar a \u00e9t\u00e9 livr\u00e9e neuve en 1970, mais les dates indiqu\u00e9es par le RDW pr\u00e9sentent une autre particularit\u00e9. En fait, la Jaguar appartient \u00e0 son propri\u00e9taire actuel depuis 1974 ! Une autre particularit\u00e9 est que celui-ci devrait \u00eatre rouge, selon le RDW.<\/p>\n

Jaguar E-Type avec 4,2 litres de cylindres en ligne<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Le RDW ne donne pas de d\u00e9signation de type sp\u00e9cifique et pratiquement aucune donn\u00e9e technique n’a \u00e9t\u00e9 saisie. Sous le capot gracieux se cache un moteur \u00e0 essence six cylindres, mais c’\u00e9tait le cas de toutes les Jaguar E-Type jusqu’\u00e0 l’arriv\u00e9e de la s\u00e9rie 3. Heureusement, l’ann\u00e9e de construction 1970 fournit un indice. Dans ce cas, le 6 cylindres en ligne de 4,2 litres sera de toute fa\u00e7on plac\u00e9 \u00e0 l’avant, un moteur connu des connaisseurs sous le nom de XK. Dans la Jaguar E-Type 1970, il produisait 195 kW (265 ch) et 385 Nm de couple. La voiture a ainsi atteint 100 km\/h en 7,0 secondes, puis 243 km\/h.<\/p>\n

Jaguar E-Type S\u00e9rie 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Construite en 1970, cette Jaguar<\/a> E-Type fait partie de la s\u00e9rie 2, produite de 1968 \u00e0 1971. La s\u00e9rie 2 se distinguait du premier mod\u00e8le principalement par ses phares, qui n’\u00e9taient plus munis d’un couvercle en verre. Cette mesure \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire pour se conformer \u00e0 la r\u00e9glementation sur l’\u00e9clairage automobile en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, mais Jaguar l’a appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 toutes les Type E dans le monde entier. On remarque moins le pare-chocs arri\u00e8re l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus grand, ainsi que les feux arri\u00e8re et les clignotants avant plus grands, qui sont d\u00e9sormais plac\u00e9s sous les pare-chocs et non plus au-dessus. Au total, 18 809 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produites.<\/p>\n
