En anglais, on parlerait de \u00ab\u00a0overdesigned\u00a0\u00bb (conception excessive). L&rsquo;Am\u00e9ricain Bill Papke est l&rsquo;une de ces personnes. Il y a deux ans, il a donc achet\u00e9 une Honda Beat de 1991 &#8211; une voiture remarquable en soi &#8211; sur un site de <a href=\"https:\/\/bringatrailer.com\/2023\/12\/17\/bat-auction-success-story-a-raazer-sharp-beat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vente aux ench\u00e8res am\u00e9ricain<\/a>, dans le but de la transformer en une voiture ne comportant que quatre surfaces planes.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"759\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/honda-beat-raazer-2-1140x759.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-172254\"><figcaption>Photos : Bring A Trailer\/Bill Papke<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Origami<\/h2>\n<p>Avec l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un logiciel de CAO et d&rsquo;un soudeur local, il a dessin\u00e9 et construit un cadre de carrosserie en forme de coin, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 mont\u00e9 sur le ch\u00e2ssis de la Honda. Un jet d&rsquo;eau a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9couper de nouvelles pi\u00e8ces de carrosserie en aluminium, qui ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 solidement fix\u00e9es au cadre \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de colle. La voiture a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9quip\u00e9e de vitres sur mesure, de nouvelles jantes de 16 pouces et d&rsquo;un \u00e9clairage \u00e0 LED. L&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur a re\u00e7u la touche finale avec un rev\u00eatement en vinyle en titane bross\u00e9. Papke dit avoir ajout\u00e9 45 kilos au poids de la Honda Beat. Pour une voiture qui ne p\u00e8se qu&rsquo;environ 750 kilos, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un gain de poids relativement important. Que fait Papke avec la voiture ? Se mettre en valeur, bien s\u00fbr ! \u00ab\u00a0Je l&#8217;emm\u00e8ne aux expositions automobiles locales, o\u00f9 elle attire toute l&rsquo;attention et fait p\u00e2lir les voitures exotiques les plus ch\u00e8res\u00a0\u00bb, explique M.
