Le moteur \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par la division sport automobile d&rsquo;AVL, mais l&rsquo;id\u00e9e sous-jacente est \u00e9galement applicable aux mod\u00e8les routiers ordinaires.<\/p>\n<h2>Adieu les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s<\/h2>\n<p>Selon AVL, le nouveau groupe motopropulseur s&rsquo;affranchit du pr\u00e9jug\u00e9 selon lequel la combustion de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne ne peut pas se traduire par des performances \u00e9lev\u00e9es et une mauvaise combustion. L&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne est normalement inject\u00e9, mais cela entra\u00eene une combustion instable. Le syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;AVL injecte de l&rsquo;eau suppl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance, ce qui \u00e9limine ce probl\u00e8me. Le moteur est donc \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;injection de carburant qui injecte de l&rsquo;eau dans l&rsquo;air d&rsquo;admission du moteur. L&rsquo;objectif \u00e9tait de d\u00e9velopper un moteur \u00e0 combustion d&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne d&rsquo;une puissance de 300 kW (402 ch) et d&rsquo;un couple de 500 Nm. Cet objectif a \u00e9t\u00e9 largement atteint, puisque le prototype d\u00e9veloppe une puissance de 410 ch, comme cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 sur un banc d&rsquo;essai. Le moteur d\u00e9livre sa puissance maximale \u00e0 6 500 tr\/min. Entre 3 000 et 4 000 tr\/min, la puissance de traction est de 500 Nm.<\/p>\n<h2>Travaux d&rsquo;essai<\/h2>\n<p>La prochaine \u00e9tape pour AVL est d&rsquo;installer cette source d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie dans une voiture afin de la tester sur un circuit.
