La voiture est un hommage \u00e0 l&rsquo;une des voitures de course les plus embl\u00e9matiques de tous les temps : la McLaren M1A originale.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00c0 propos de Steve Nichols<\/h2>\n<p>Steve Nichols et John Minett &#8211; PDG de Nichols Cars &#8211; ont fond\u00e9 Nichols Cars en 2017 et souhaitaient cr\u00e9er une v\u00e9ritable voiture de pilote. Le N1A en est le r\u00e9sultat. Steve Nichols est un nom c\u00e9l\u00e8bre dans le monde du sport automobile, en particulier en Formule 1, o\u00f9 il a travaill\u00e9 avec McLaren \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1980 et au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1990. Il est responsable de l&rsquo;introduction des applications de la fibre de carbone en Formule 1, un mat\u00e9riau d\u00e9sormais courant dans la plupart des voitures de course.<\/p>\n<p>En tant que designer en chef chez McLaren en 1987, la premi\u00e8re voiture que Nichols a con\u00e7ue pour McLaren &#8211; la MP4\/3 &#8211; a permis \u00e0 Alain Prost de remporter trois victoires. A droite : John Minett<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Fibre de carbone<\/h2>\n<p>Sans surprise, le Nichols N1A est construit \u00e0 partir du mat\u00e9riau dont Steve Nichols lui-m\u00eame \u00e9tait un fervent partisan : la fibre de carbone. La carrosserie du N1A c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritage du M1A, mais en est une interpr\u00e9tation tout \u00e0 fait moderne. Elle est compos\u00e9e de fibres de carbone de qualit\u00e9 Formule 1 infus\u00e9es de graph\u00e8ne, ce qui conf\u00e8re \u00e0 la voiture sa rigidit\u00e9 et contribue \u00e0 sa l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Exp\u00e9rience de la course Can-Am<\/h2>\n<p>Avec un rapport poids\/puissance de pr\u00e8s de 700 ch par tonne (selon les sp\u00e9cifications du moteur), les conducteurs de la N1A peuvent s&rsquo;immerger dans la v\u00e9ritable exp\u00e9rience de course de Can-Am. Le N1A est \u00e9galement disponible dans un nombre illimit\u00e9 de coloris, chacun pouvant \u00eatre personnalis\u00e9.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"760\" height=\"1140\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/33.Wheelcloseupportrait-760x1140.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163219\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Un cockpit efficace<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur, le cockpit refl\u00e8te l&rsquo;approche d\u00e9pouill\u00e9e d&rsquo;une voiture de course et le tableau de bord avec ses cadrans renvoie \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge d&rsquo;or du sport automobile. Nichols n&rsquo;utilise que des mat\u00e9riaux de haute qualit\u00e9, tels que le cuir, les tissus haut de gamme et les composants en aluminium. L&rsquo;antipatinage est de s\u00e9rie, la direction assist\u00e9e et l&rsquo;ABS commutable sont en option. Il est facile de comprendre que le N1A est destin\u00e9 aux puristes de l&rsquo;automobile qui appr\u00e9cient le plaisir de conduire, loin des \u00e9crans tactiles lumineux que l&rsquo;on trouve trop souvent dans les voitures d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui.<\/p>\n<h2>V8 de 7,0 litres<\/h2>\n<p>Le \u00ab\u00a0c\u0153ur battant\u00a0\u00bb de la N1A haut de gamme est un V8 de 7,0 litres enti\u00e8rement alli\u00e9 et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Nichols Cars. Le V8 a d&rsquo;abord \u00e9t\u00e9 un bloc LS3 de General Motors. Le bloc a \u00e9t\u00e9 al\u00e9s\u00e9 pour recevoir de nouvelles chemises en acier, tandis que des pistons et des bielles sur mesure ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9s. Ce moteur impressionnant est en outre dot\u00e9 de corps de papillon \u00e0 commande \u00e9lectronique et d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me \u00e0 carter sec. Le r\u00e9sultat de ces importantes am\u00e9liorations du moteur est une puissance totale de 650 ch, ce qui signifie que le N1A dans cette sp\u00e9cification a une puissance de pr\u00e8s de 700 ch par tonne. Plusieurs transmissions sont disponibles, toutes fournies par Dana Graziano (anciennement Graziano Transmissioni). La bo\u00eete de vitesses manuelle \u00e0 six rapports est de s\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<h2>100 pi\u00e8ces, 15 premi\u00e8res pi\u00e8ces sp\u00e9ciales<\/h2>\n<p>La production totale du N1A est limit\u00e9e \u00e0 100 exemplaires, ce qui garantit l&rsquo;exclusivit\u00e9. Les 15 premi\u00e8res voitures seront vendues en tant que mod\u00e8les haut de gamme, toutes \u00e9quip\u00e9es d&rsquo;un V8 de 7,0 litres, en hommage \u00e0 la McLaren MP4\/4. Chaque voiture c\u00e9l\u00e8bre une victoire sp\u00e9cifique de la voiture de Formule 1 McLaren MP4\/4 de Steve Nichols.
