Vous avez peut-\u00eatre remarqu\u00e9 que dans de nombreux endroits aux Pays-Bas – et m\u00eame \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision – vous voyez des publicit\u00e9s pour Lotus. On ne voyait jamais \u00e7a avant, une publicit\u00e9 pour une Elise ou une Evora. Lotus est depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 du chinois Geely, qui d\u00e9tient \u00e9galement Volvo, Polestar et Lynk & Co, et ce dernier veut mettre le paquet sur Lotus. Ou plut\u00f4t plein de puissance. L’Eletre tout \u00e9lectrique devrait arriver sur le march\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9t\u00e9 2023 et la marque veut marquer un gros coup avec ce mod\u00e8le. <\/p>\n

Chine<\/h2>\n

La voiture sort de l’usine depuis quelques mois dans une ville que vous connaissez bien : Wuhan. Sur le nez de l’Eletre se trouve le vieux et familier logo vert-jaune de Lotus. En Chine, en revanche, le logo est diff\u00e9rent et indique Lotus NYO. Pour comprendre pourquoi il en est ainsi, il faut d’abord conna\u00eetre un peu l’histoire de Lotus en Chine. En 2011, Lotus a fait officiellement ses d\u00e9buts en Chine. La marque a ensuite pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les Evora, Exige et Elise. Des mod\u00e8les qui ont depuis cess\u00e9 d’exister. <\/p>\n

Lotus NYO<\/h2>\n

En Chine, il existait d\u00e9j\u00e0 un constructeur automobile qui avait d\u00e9pos\u00e9 le nom de Lotus : la China Youngman Automobile Group Co. Ce fabricant, plus connu sous le nom de Youngman, \u00e9tait l’importateur chinois officiel de Lotus depuis 2006. Lorsque Lotus <\/a>a voulu faire des affaires en Chine m\u00eame en 2011, elle a d\u00fb trouver un nouveau nom. C’est devenu Lu Te Si, une traduction phon\u00e9tique du nom Lotus<\/a> en chinois. L’insigne porte la mention Lotus NYO. Ce dernier signifie \u00ab\u00a0nouveau\u00a0\u00bb. Ainsi, en Chine, la marque est \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de New Lotus. Tous les mod\u00e8les Lotus du pays portent donc ce logo :<\/p>\n
