Les ennuis pour le Felicity Ace ont commenc\u00e9 le 16 f\u00e9vrier. Le navire \u00e9tait en route d’Emden en Allemagne vers la c\u00f4te est des \u00c9tats-Unis lorsqu’un incendie s’est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 bord. Les 22 membres d’\u00e9quipage ont \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement \u00e9vacu\u00e9s et le navire a d\u00e9riv\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9rive dans l’oc\u00e9an Atlantique.<\/p>\n

Deux jours plus tard, des remorqueurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de sauvetage n\u00e9erlandaise Smit Salvage sont arriv\u00e9s et l’extinction a commenc\u00e9.
