Se trata de uno de los \u00faltimos ejemplares. Aunque en su d\u00eda fue un modelo habitual en el segmento A, hace ya bastante tiempo que no nos cruzamos con uno. De todas las generaciones juntas, parece que todav\u00eda hay 101 matriculados en Holanda, 76 de los cuales son de esta generaci\u00f3n del modelo. Un kei car que, a pesar de su tama\u00f1o compacto, ten\u00eda el motor en la parte trasera, bajo el maletero. Con ello, el peque\u00f1o coche ten\u00eda espacio para el equipaje tanto delante como detr\u00e1s, aunque ninguno de los dos era grande. Aun as\u00ed, en conjunto, pod\u00edas transportar una cantidad notable, dadas sus compactas dimensiones exteriores.   <\/p>\n<p>Fuera de Jap\u00f3n, el Rex se entregaba como Subaru 500 \u00f3 600, y la denominaci\u00f3n del tipo hac\u00eda referencia a la cilindrada del motor, aunque redondeada por un amplio margen. A pesar de haber encontrado una foto granulada de un Subaru 500\/600 en Europa, parece que este modelo a\u00fan no se entregaba oficialmente en Europa. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1107\" height=\"537\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Subaru-Rex.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211751\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cap\u00edtulo dos: Subaru Mini Jumbo a Europa<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En 1981 sali\u00f3 al mercado la segunda generaci\u00f3n del Rex. Ahora era un coche urbano m\u00e1s convencional, con el motor \u00abjusto\u00bb delante y un dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s bien mediocre y elegante para la \u00e9poca. Este modelo lleg\u00f3 oficialmente a Europa. En algunos mercados se mantuvo el nombre de tipo 600 (m\u00e1s tarde el 700), pero en muchos pa\u00edses el modelo se vendi\u00f3 como Subaru Mini Jumbo. Por cierto, contrariamente a lo que sugiere ese nombre, no hubo un modelo Jumbo m\u00e1s grande.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"619\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Subaru-Mini-Jumbo-1-1140x619.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211752\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>tercera generaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El Subaru Rex de tercera generaci\u00f3n, o el segundo Subaru Mini Jumbo, vio la luz en 1986. Al igual que muchos competidores kei car, el coche evolucion\u00f3 hasta convertirse en un modelo hatchback ligeramente m\u00e1s alto, pero para su \u00e9poca segu\u00eda siendo un coche urbano bastante mediocre. Para el mercado europeo, se volvieron a inventar algunas variantes con nombre de tipo. Por ejemplo, estuvo a la venta en algunos pa\u00edses como M60\/M70\/M80 o Signet.   <\/p>\n<p>Con esta tercera generaci\u00f3n, la gama de motores era m\u00e1s amplia que nunca, pero en Europa s\u00f3lo estaban disponibles los dos m\u00e1s grandes. Lo de \u00abmayores\u00bb es relativo, ya que se trataba de un bicil\u00edndrico de 665 cc y un tetracil\u00edndrico de 758 cc. La potencia era de 27 kW (37 CV) a 31 kW (42 CV). Aunque el peque\u00f1o coche pesaba s\u00f3lo unos 600 kg seg\u00fan la versi\u00f3n, el sprint de 0 a 100 duraba entre 17 y 20 segundos. Su sucesor se llam\u00f3 Subaru Vivio.
