Las fotos de aparcamientos no son ideales, pero ten\u00edamos que mostrar este lugar. Para m\u00ed, \u00e9ste es con diferencia el BMW favorito. En primer lugar, estaba el atmosf\u00e9rico V8 con transmisi\u00f3n manual y tracci\u00f3n trasera. Adem\u00e1s, el coche ten\u00eda un chasis que no s\u00f3lo estaba a la altura de sus prestaciones deportivas, sino que tambi\u00e9n era adecuado para un c\u00f3modo kilometraje diario. El M5 E39 trajo consigo una serie de primicias. En primer lugar, fue el primer M5 que no ten\u00eda un seis cilindros en l\u00ednea, sino un V8 de 4,9 litros. Por supuesto, con una potencia de 294 kW (400 CV), tambi\u00e9n fue el M5 m\u00e1s potente hasta entonces. Esa potencia, como ya hemos dicho, iba a las ruedas traseras, a trav\u00e9s de una transmisi\u00f3n manual de seis velocidades. Tras s\u00f3lo 5,3 segundos, el coche ya estaba a 100 km\/h, con una velocidad m\u00e1xima limitada a 250 km\/h. Sin ese limitador, la velocidad m\u00e1xima superar\u00eda los 300 km\/h.      <\/p>\n<p>Otras primicias fueron la suspensi\u00f3n delantera parcialmente de aluminio, la suspensi\u00f3n trasera multibrazo y el hecho de que simplemente saliera de la misma l\u00ednea de producci\u00f3n que los modelos normales de la Serie 5.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Facelift y continuaci\u00f3n del BMW M5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En 2000, para el a\u00f1o modelo 2001, el BMW M5 sufri\u00f3 un sutil lavado de cara junto con la Serie 5 normal. En el M5, los cambios fueron puramente est\u00e9ticos: los faros delanteros recibieron luces diurnas hal\u00f3genas \u00abAngel Eyes\u00bb y, como uno de los primeros coches, el BMW recibi\u00f3 luces traseras LED. <\/p>\n<p>La producci\u00f3n del BMW M5 E39 finaliz\u00f3 junto con los dem\u00e1s modelos de la Serie 5 en 2003. El nuevo M5 entr\u00f3 en el mercado en 2004 (a\u00f1o modelo 2005).
