Durante la prueba en la bella Suiza, nos cruzamos con uno de sus parientes del pasado: un precioso Citro\u00ebn GSA Club Break. Entr\u00f3 en el mercado en 1970. En aquella \u00e9poca, Citro\u00ebn a\u00fan ten\u00eda una gama de modelos bastante limitada y el GS fue una adici\u00f3n bienvenida. Llenaba el hueco entre los econ\u00f3micos 2CV y Ami y los lujosos modelos ID\/DS. Un segmento de mercado importante, que Citro\u00ebn hab\u00eda ignorado durante demasiado tiempo.    <\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, el Citro\u00ebn GS impresion\u00f3 de inmediato, sobre todo por su distintivo pero bello dise\u00f1o, que adem\u00e1s era muy aerodin\u00e1mico. Adem\u00e1s, gracias a su suspensi\u00f3n hidroneum\u00e1tica, el coche ofrec\u00eda un confort de conducci\u00f3n superior a la media, especialmente para este segmento. El resto de la tecnolog\u00eda y la seguridad tambi\u00e9n estaban a un alto nivel para la \u00e9poca. No es de extra\u00f1ar que el coche fuera nombrado Coche del A\u00f1o 1971.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1138\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Citroen-GS-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202959\"><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Variantes del Citro\u00ebn GS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El GS estaba disponible como berlina de cuatro puertas con una l\u00ednea de techo muy inclinada y como familiar de cinco puertas m\u00e1s convencional, el Break. Este \u00faltimo tambi\u00e9n ten\u00eda una versi\u00f3n de dos puertas para el mercado de veh\u00edculos comerciales. Las variantes coup\u00e9 y hatchback de tres puertas no llegaron a la fase de producci\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Interior del Citro\u00ebn GS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El interior era quiz\u00e1 incluso m\u00e1s idiosincr\u00e1sico que el exterior. El salpicadero de aspecto moderno y el volante de un solo radio segu\u00edan recordando al ya familiar ID\/DS, pero la instrumentaci\u00f3n era mucho m\u00e1s futurista. En el veloc\u00edmetro, la aguja estaba fija, mientras que los n\u00fameros se deslizaban horizontalmente detr\u00e1s de ella como una escala (m\u00e1s tarde se sustituy\u00f3 por un veloc\u00edmetro convencional). La radio estaba situada en la parte baja de la consola central, entre los asientos delanteros. As\u00ed que se limit\u00f3 a un extenso lavado de cara. En el proceso, el nombre cambi\u00f3 de GS a GSA. Siguiendo la \u00faltima moda automovil\u00edstica, el Citro\u00ebn recibi\u00f3 parachoques de pl\u00e1stico m\u00e1s grandes. Adem\u00e1s, gracias a un port\u00f3n trasero m\u00e1s grande, la berlina se convirti\u00f3 en un liftback. El salpicadero se hizo a\u00fan m\u00e1s futurista, con un cuadro de instrumentos parcialmente digital e incluso un dibujo t\u00e9cnico del coche. En \u00e9l, los indicadores luminosos indicaban directamente en qu\u00e9 parte del coche se encontraba el problema en cuesti\u00f3n. Varios botones se trasladaron a sat\u00e9lites junto al volante, para que pudieras manejar esas funciones sin soltar el volante.       <\/p>\n<h2><strong>El Citro\u00ebn GS(A) es un \u00e9xito de ventas<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A su vez, el Citro\u00ebn GSA dur\u00f3 hasta 1986 (y hasta 1990 fuera de Europa). Se fabricaron hasta 2,5 millones de unidades del GS y el GSA juntos. Al GSA le sucedi\u00f3 el Citro\u00ebn BX, de mayor tama\u00f1o, que se vend\u00eda junto al GSA desde 1982.
