El aire acondicionado y la radio s\u00f3lo estaban disponibles como opciones.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Porsche 911 GT3 con motor de carreras<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la parte trasera del 911 GT3 hab\u00eda un motor b\u00f3xer de seis cilindros muy similar al bloque que tambi\u00e9n se encontraba en el 962 y el 911 GT1, dos coches de carreras de pura raza. En el 911 GT3, el bloque produc\u00eda 265 kW (360 CV), lo que lo convert\u00eda en nada menos que 60 CV m\u00e1s potente que el 911 est\u00e1ndar. El motor b\u00f3xer estaba acoplado a una transmisi\u00f3n manual de seis velocidades, todav\u00eda de la \u00e9poca del 911 refrigerado por aire. Con su construcci\u00f3n m\u00e1s robusta, esta transmisi\u00f3n se adaptaba mejor al GT3 que la transmisi\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar del 911 996.<\/p>\n<p>El Porsche 911 GT3 alcanz\u00f3 los 100 km\/h en 4,8 segundos y lleg\u00f3 a algo m\u00e1s de 300 km\/h.
