YangWang U9: electric supercar for a bargain
Four electric motors for YangWang U9
Of course, we mean the word “bargain” in a relative sense, because 145,000 euros is still a lot of money, of course. But with the YangWang U9, you do get great value for money. Thus, the exuberantly designed two-seater should be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in two seconds. YangWang is not yet making any statements about system capability. However, it is already known that the car will have four electric motors.
Also an off-roader from YangWang
The YangWang U8 – an off-roader from this Chinese car brand (pictured below) – also has four electric motors. The system power of that car is 1,115 hp. So with the U9, count on a similar output.
No study model
Although the car looks much like a study model, the U9 will go into production as usual. There are no plans for the European market. For now, the U9 will be marketed only in China as a direct competitor to the GAC Aion Hyper Hyper SSR. That GAC costs 186,000 euros, while the YangWang U9 costs “only” 145,000 euros.
