XPENG G9: the battery
The XPENG G9 uses a 98 kWh battery with 800V silicon carbide (SiC) technology that allows fast charging (DC) with powers up to 300 kW. This allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Range
The XPENG G9 RWD Long Range is called a range of up to 570 kilometers (WLTP), considering the relatively compact battery pack is a handsome achievement. Furthermore, you can count on a maximum braked towing weight of 1,500 kilograms.
System power AWD
XPENG supplies the G9 with a choice of rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The AWD version produces an output of 405 kW (551 hp) and maximum torque of 717 Nm, good for a 0-100 time of 3.9 seconds. Air suspension is standard.
Interior XPENG G9
The interior of the G9 features high-quality finishes. The front seats have heating and ventilation. The manufacturer supplies a sound system from Dynaudio with a power output of 2,150W as required. All driving assistance systems are bundled under the name XPILOT. All systems are controlled by 29 sensors, including radars, ultrasonic sensors, surround view and HD cameras.
Infotainment
The infotainment system runs on Xmart OS with 3D user interface. The voice assistant comes to life by saying “Hey, XPENG. Thanks to software-over-the-air connectivity, you don’t have to go to the dealer for software updates.
Extended warranty
XPENG ‘s models come standard with factory warranty of 5 years/120,000 km. Customers who purchase a new XPENG G9 during the period from Feb. 3 to Dec. 31, 2023, will benefit from an extended manufacturer’s warranty of 7 years/160,000 km. This extended warranty is tied to the vehicle and transferable to a subsequent owner. Prices for the G9 start at 57,990 euros in the Netherlands.
Start of delivery
Delivery of the G9 is expected to begin in September 2023. Customers can visit XPENG in The Hague. Xpeng expects to expand its Dutch dealer network in the near future.
