Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar: “After our best sales year ever, we are now launching the biggest model offensive in our history, with four premium EVs to be launched within three years. We are targeting the heart of the EV market, where customer demand is high and margins are substantial. Combined with the further expansion of our retail network and a growing customer base, we are thus laying the foundation for profitable growth and operational improvement. <\/em><\/p>\n The Polestar 5 is our halo model that takes performance and luxury to a new level in the grand tourer segment. With its impressive handling and lightweight, bonded aluminum platform, the four-door GT has received rave reviews during its launch tour of Europe. <\/em><\/p>\n The Polestar 4 coupe is currently our best-selling model. Later this year we will introduce a new variant of the Polestar 4, based on the same advanced technology. With this new Polestar, we are going to push the standard again. Sweden is known for its world-class station wagons and SUVs. We combine the space of a station wagon and the versatility of an SUV with the dynamic performance characteristic of Polestar. <\/em><\/p>\n The Polestar 2 is the foundation of our brand, with more than 190,000 units sold and an enthusiastic driver community. Early next year, we will introduce the next generation of this iconic model at record speed. The car with which we built our reputation is going to play a key role in our future success. <\/em><\/p>\n With the Polestar 7, we are entering the largest EV segment in Europe: that of compact SUVs, which is expected to account for around a third of total BEV volume by 2025. We are confident that we can offer customers a progressive, performance-oriented car produced in Europe, at a very attractive price point. <\/em><\/p>\n 2025 was a year of continuous operational progress and strong growth in deliveries. With our attractive model range, intensive support from our shareholders and partners, we have access to the latest technologies. Polestar is therefore well positioned to become one of the winners in the transformation of the automotive industry.” <\/em><\/p>\n Despite geopolitical and economic challenges, Polestar realized its best year ever in retail sales in 2025. For 2026, the company expects to achieve low double-digit retail volume growth with a disciplined approach. The sales mix is expected to continue to evolve, with an increasing share for the Polestar 4. In addition, to drive qualitative sales growth, Polestar will focus more explicitly on the retail channel, supported by further network expansion and an attractive model range.
